Take the first step – we’ll help you on your way. Our goal at Danfert & Stork fertility clinic is that you feel seen and heard, surrounded by our experts. We take our time with you and always guarantee you a private room during treatment.

We have long opening hours most weekdays. You will be assigned a permanent contact doctor who follows you and your treatment.

At Danfert & Stork fertility clinic, we offer advisory and supportive conversations with our fertility therapist, Mille Duzenius.

We are looking forward to welcome you.

The initial consultation

You can have the initial consultation at the clinic, by phone or online. The conversation is non-binding, and you will be able to ask all the questions you have here.

If we have answers to all the tests that we believe are relevant in your case, we will be able to plan your fertility course and instruct you in the further process at Danfert & Stork fertility clinic

Fertility counseling

At Danfert & Stork fertility clinic, you have the opportunity to get an assessment and advice about your fertility – without necessarily having to start treatment. During a fertility consultation, you and a possible partner an assessment of your fertility. The examinations consist of an AMH blood test (AMH tells us about the egg reserve) and an ultrasound scan of the woman. If you have a male partner, we can also offer a sperm analysis.

Freezing eggs

While freezing of sperm and embryos in the prenuclear, 8-cell or blastocyst stage has been a standard method used for many years, the first European work in 2010 was able to demonstrate that with special freezing methods similar good pregnancy rates could be achieved as with fresh eggs.

Cryopreservation

Cryopreservation is a process that makes it possible to store cells and tissues for a long time (blastocysts max. 5 years) for later use. Cells and tissues are frozen and stored at minus 196 degrees Celsius in liquid nitrogen. The name of this technique comes from the ancient Greek word “cryos”, which means “cold”.

Semen analysis

If pregnancy has not been achieved naturally so far, a semen analysis can show how the man’s sperm quality is. At Danfert & Stork fertility clinic, we carry out the sperm analysis in our specialist laboratories and advise you on the options for fertility treatment based on your individual circumstances.

Midwife consultations

At the Danfert & Stork fertility clinic in Copenhagen, we offer midwifery consultations with a permanent midwife from very early pregnancy. Here we can talk about what’s on your mind, and we’ll also touch on some of the natural changes your body will go through over the next several months.

HSU

To achieve pregnancy, there must be passage through at least one fallopian tube. If there is reduced passage in the fallopian tube, there will be an increased risk of an ectopic pregnancy. At Danfert & Stork fertility clinic, we recommend that you examine whether there is passage in your fallopian tubes with an ultrasound scan called Hystero Salpinge Ultrasonography (HSU).
