Egg donation and double donation prices

At Danfert & Stork fertility clinic, you can choose egg donation treatment with your own known egg donor. The egg donor can, for example, be a sister, a cousin or a friend. It is important that the egg donor is not genetically related to the future father.

We will always start with a thorough discussion with both you and the known egg donor. Here we will talk about your mutual relationship, your agreements, the feelings about the process, your expectations of each other and your agreements after the donation. We will also talk to you about your thoughts and feelings regarding honesty and openness with the child that will hopefully come.

With this type of treatment, you must pay for the egg donor’s consultation and medication, as well as your own treatment. The price is DKK 42.000.

An initial conversation with both the donor egg recipient and the known egg donor costs DKK 3.000. This includes a conversation with a doctor, the egg donation team and our fertility therapist Mille Duzenius for both the donor egg recipient and the known egg donor.

We do not know in advance how much medicine your egg donor will need. The amount and dose will depend on age, blood tests etc.

No financial compensation will be provided to your known egg donor.

We give no guarantee as to whether there will be usable blastocysts for implantation when using eggs from a known egg donor. This means that you will not get money back or a discount on the next treatment if a blastocyst is not available for implantation.

When there are blastocysts from a donation, the first laying will be included in the price, but you will have to pay extra for each subsequent laying.
